Tasha Nathan

Instructor

A movement educator for more than a decade, movement has been a constant throughout Tasha’s life—she began dancing at age two and turned to Pilates, yoga and barre to support her dance career. Beyond the physical conditioning, these practices offered her a sense of clarity and grounding that carried her through life’s many shifts.

Inspired by its impact, Tasha earned her barre certification in 2016 through Barre Soul Academy, completed her Yoga RYT-200 with David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund in 2018, and holds a classical mat Pilates certificate after training with Clare Dunphy Hemani. She is currently pursuing her 600 hour classical comprehensive Pilates certification through Alycea Ungaro’s Real Pilates. Additionally, she is certified in Yoga for Lymphatic Flow with Barbara Jackson Tobin.

Tasha wholeheartedly believes in movement as medicine and the connection between mind and body. These pillars of her teaching philosophy were further strengthened in 2022, when she underwent treatment for Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer. The foundations she had cultivated through years of dedicated movement practice are what she believes supported her through treatment recovery, inspiring her to shares this with others in the oncology community through her program, Move Anyway.

In every session, Tasha strives to create a safe, supportive space where students can build strength, deepen self-awareness, and find grounding that extends to life off the mat. It is her greatest joy to guide you through your movement practice so you can participate in your life fully.
