  • Yes, we know countless modifications for different injuries and limitations. We highly recommend making an appointment for a Private Session before joining group classes in order to learn how to modify exercises appropriately for your condition.

  • Group classes have a 5-minute grace period.

For safety, if you arrive more than five minutes late you cannot join the class and it will count as a late cancellation. Missing the warm-up raises injury risk, so please arrive on time.

    • 48-Hour Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

    • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, are charged in full.

    • Why We Ask: Our instructors reserve this time specifically for you and carefully manage waitlists to accommodate other clients.

  • Third-generation certified means that Julia Stetson was trained by Alycea Ungaro, who was trained by Romana Kryzanowska, one of Joseph Pilates' most trusted protégés and the person he selected to continue teaching his work after his death. This creates a direct, documented lineage from Joseph Pilates to Romana, to Alycea, to Julia. In Classical Pilates, this lineage matters because the method is traditionally passed from teacher to teacher through hands-on instruction, mentorship, and experience—not simply learned from books or manuals. For clients, this means studying with a teacher whose education comes through an unbroken chain of transmission. For teacher trainees, our program is taught directly by second-generation teacher Alycea Ungaro, providing rare access to instruction just two generations removed from Joseph Pilates himself.
